Childreach Charity Comedy Night

Four university students have organised a comedy night to raise money for Childreach, an organisation working in Africa to promote children’s rights. Jonathan Pelham, Tom Acworth, Marc Smethurst and Charlie Rowley, all studying at universities in the North East, will be hosting the charity night at the North Terrace pub in Newcastle, with no less than nine comedians taking part in the show.

Tony Jameson, Charlie Rowley, Marc Smethust, Ben Lowes-Smith, Liam Frost, Gavin Whitaker, Jonathan Pelham and Mr Face [Jack Gardner] will all be performing around five minutes of material each in exchange for £3 and two and a half hours of your time. Long Live Comedy resident MC George Zach will hold the night together as compere.

The show begins at 8pm, but doors are at 7.30pm so you can have a drink and a chat before the show begins. More information on Childreach can be found on their website here and full details of the charity night can be found on the Giggle Beats calendar.
