Jack Dee is to appear at this year’s Latitude Festival.

Dee, who headlined the festival in 2012, will be presenting a version of his new show Helpdesk at the Suffolk site over the weekend of 17-19 July.

In Helpdesk the two-time Comedy Award winner is joined by a panel of comics including Jeremy Hardy, Seann Walsh and Katherine Ryan to offer advice on audience members’ problems.

He promises that “in no way’” will your issues be “ridiculed in front of a live audience”. Here’s hoping!

Other additions to the line-up include Mark Watson, Vikki Stone, Ed Gamble, Matt Rees, Sean McLoughlin, The Pin, Massive Dad, The Monster Comedy Shed and Fancy Chance.

Latitude founder Melvin Benn said: “This year sees Latitude return for its ninth edition, with a sensational and diverse bill that once again really offers something for everyone.

“We’re delighted to be able to reveal a whole host of high calibre comedians, theatre companies, poets, writers and other performers across the festival. I’m confident this is going to be the best Latitude yet!”

This year’s comedy headliners are Dara O’Briain, Simon Amstell and Kevin Bridges.
