A live Q&A with Peter Kay in aid of Salford Women’s Aid Domestic Violence Refuges sold out within ten minutes today.

The show, at Blackpool Opera House on 15 November, sees Kay answer fan questions as well as discussing the comedian’s favourite work.

To cope with demand a second date has now been added for the 14 November – but fans will have to fork out £38.50 to see the live Q&A.

Kay said: “A friend of mine works for Salford Women’s Refuges, which unfortunately is greatly overlooked as a charity.

“After hearing the shocking statistics and discussing the invaluable work they do I felt it was crucial to try and raise some much-needed funds so they can continue offering vulnerable victims, including children, help when they need it most.

“If I can put on a special night that helps benefit the charity in some way and have some fun in the process, how could I pass on such a good opportunity?”

Tickets for Kay’s second live Q&A are on sale now.
