Pub Landlord Al Murray has announced he will be performing at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Tuesday 10 November.

Tickets for Murray’s show One Man, One Guvnor sees go on general sale at the Town Hall Box Office and online at 10am Friday 12 June.

Murray’s November date adds to an already exciting comedy diary at the Town Hall this year.

Jimmy Carr, Dara O’Briain, Alan Carr, Dylan Moran and Katherine Ryan have all enjoyed top gigs over the last few months – and there’s plenty more to follow with Patrick Monahan (13 June), Kevin Bridges (16 July), Alan Carr (29 & 30 July), Jimmy Carr (9 August), Paddy McGuiness (29 Sept), Chris Ramsey (24 October), Alan Davies (30 Oct), Lee Nelson (12 November), Milton Jones (20 November), Dave Gorman (21 November) and Sarah Millican (9, 10 & 11 December) all heading for Boro this year.

Rob Guest of Middlesbrough Town Hall said: “Al Murray is a proper force of nature. A real stand-up legend who just tears up the stage like no-one else. He’s far and away one of the best live comics I’ve ever seen, and we jumped at the chance to add him to the list of great comics playing here at the Town Hall this year.

“We’ve had an incredible few years of comedy here, but this is already panning out to be our best year yet – and that’s saying something! The gigs so far this year have been amazing, there’s plenty more to follow, and Al’s gig is definitely going to be one of the highlights of the year I think. Best buy early for this one.”
