Alan Carr has added a third date at Middlesbrough Town Hall, following huge public demand.

With only handful of tickets left for Carr’s 19 April and 30 July shows, promoters Ten Feet Tall have penciled in an extra date on 29 July 2015.

Tickets for the Yap Yap Yap tour‘s extra date go on sale at the Town Hall Box Office, and online at 10am on Friday 23 January.

The three shows mark the Chatty Man host’s first performances at the Town Hall in four years following his last sell-out visit to Middlesbrough.

The show joins a growing list of comics set to appear at the Town Hall this year, including Jimmy Carr, Dara O’Briain, Dylan Moran, Katherine Ryan, Patrick Monahan, Kevin Bridges, and Dave Gorman.

Ten Feet Tall’s Graham Ramsay said; “We got the year off to a flier when we confirmed Dylan Moran a week or so back, and this is even more great news for Teesside’s comedy fans to get excited about.

“Tickets for Alan’s existing gigs are absolutely flying, and it looked like a lot of people were going to be disappointed at not getting a seat.

“The tour’s already massive, so when we asked about a third date we thought it was a real long shot. We were naturally delighted when his management came straight back saying that Alan loves the North East, and that he was well up for squeezing an extra show in.

“We’ve been lucky enough to work with Alan a good few times over the years, right from his early days starting out, and he’s always a real pleasure to be around.

“Fantastically funny, warm and theatrical, he’s simply an amazing stand-up and clearly born to be up there on that stage. Anyone lucky enough to get a ticket for any of the three gigs is in for an incredible night here.”
